kholania_larts has all custom fields (including the pretitle, which normally has a two-character minimum) set to "0," resides in the non-existent region of __ghost__, has 1 million population, had supposedly been founded in Antiquity (despite being officially founded at 1410 BST today, around the time the recent database connection errors began), was last active at the dawn of the Unix epoch in January 1970, and is first in Patriotism despite having a score of zero. How and why did this situation arise?

anyways --- and this is just my theory --- i think it's pretty likely that kholania_larts might be a test. for example, fields that usually are unobtainable exist --- "There is no government in the normal sense of the word," "defies classification", "probably because of the absence of a police force", "The 0 of kholania_larts has no detectable government spending," "Complete abolition of government," et cetera.

Additionally, attempting to load any stat results in a first in the world ranking, and a blank page where the graph is supposed to be.

EDIT: Stats for it aren't calculated until they have been loaded in a view page, so they don't show on https://www.nationstates.net/nation=kho ... etail=rank. When I click on the region link for this one, I get sent back to my nation page... it's not even an invalid region, it just looks like it's blank.

If it was database issues, I'd think they'd be more concentrated in one place, rather than spread out, having different kinds, in different places.

Going to be watching this thread closely for any other nations discovered.

Deleted the nation in the OP. Looks like it got stuck in limbo during creation and didn’t finish the process properly. Let the admin know about it regardless.

Deleted the other mentioned nation too as it was part of a past bug and there really isn’t any reason to leave it floating in a non-region.
