Nation founding date

Just noticed an issue with the nation found date info.

Crookfur was originally set up back in May 03 and my Jolt profile shows this but on this forum it shows up as 23rd april 2006.

Is this soemthing to do with the last time I let my nation get deleted for inactivity then ressurected?

I'd guess so. I've seen some people with younger dates.

Yes, a number of nations that expired then got resurrected had their founding dates messed up here.

"Antiquity" is the label for nations created before the game started recording birthdates. We can't set it to anything different.

Not to argue, but the game certainly started recording birthdates back in AMF's and my day. Like him knowing his date, mine was March 12, 2003. I would not know this, 6 years later, if it had not been listed under my name for ages. There is nothing that can be done to change this?

I think you are referring to your Jolt forum account creation date. That might be effectively the same time as you created your nation or might be much later. The nation Steel Butterfly was founded before we started recording foundation dates.

Just for my knowledge, would you happen to know what date you started recording found dates?? Would make 'antiquity' a lot more detailed.

First off I don't want you to think that I'm calling you a liar. I'm more or less just confused. As I remember it, in the original forums it said that my founding date was March 12, 2003. When we switched to Jolt, this date was carried over (since I really don't think Jolt was around then as the main forum). Now I could be completely wrong (it was 6 years ago) but I don't see how if that founding date or forum account creation date could be transferred from the original forums to the Jolt forums, why can't it be similarly used for these forums.

The reason the Jolt info isn't transferred is because the data from Jolt (threads and profile info) wasn't incorporated into the forums. Jolt originally wrote a program to take all the old forum data and move it onto their servers. They wouldn't be so kind on our way out.
