How does the population rise?

Postby Queell » Mon Mar 14, 2022 2:47 pm

I founded my nation yesterday and it started with a population of five million. It went up by one million today.
So does it just go up by one million a day? Or is it a random increase?

It will increase gradually after that. I think it does start slowly but for example I’m pretty sure my nation increases by 7-8 million per day.

Ok, thank you.
Oh I've got another question I just thought of. Does the time between issues increase gradually? It seems to do so.

Yup. Eventually it stays at every 6 hours though. At first, that seems like a long time. But NS teaches you to be patient, and you'll come to realize that every 6 hours is a pretty good time.

Regarding your original question about population increase, a more comprehensive answer can be found in the following excerpt of this ancient post that is still accurate so far as I know or have heard:

Day 1: start at population: 5 million
Days 2-6: 5 days growth of 1 million: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,
Days 7-11: 5 days growth of 2 million: 12, 14, 16, 18, 20,
Days 12-15: 4 days growth of 3 million: 23, 26, 29, 32
Days 16-17: 2 days growth at 4 million: 36, 40
Days 18-19: 2 days growth at 5 million: 45, 50
Days 20-21: 2 days growth at 6 million: 56, 62
Days 22-23: random growth of 5, 6, or 7 million per day, with even chance.

Your population proliferation maxes out at days 22-23. I hope that helps, and welcome btw
