Deleting dispatchs & factbooks of a refounded nation

A former version of my nation made a dispatch that I wish to get rid of: https://www.nationstates.net/page=dispatch/id=88478 As far as I know, refounds such as I cannot even touch dispatches & factbooks created by their precursors. Is there some way or process to do this? Or do GHRs need filed every single time?

Have you tried? I think you have the ability to remove it. As far as I remember, this is the first time this question has been asked.

If you don't, then a GHR for all of them under a given nation would work.

It used to be possible for refounded nations to delete their predecessors' RMB messages, but that got fixed.

I am curious as to why you think this should be possible. After all, we don't allow random people to delete others' dispatches in general. Why should that be allowed just because someone shares the same name with a nation that existed long ago? If anything the problem is that the old nation's dispatch appears under the name of the new nation (though it's still not on the new nation's dispatch or factbook lists).

I am curious as to why you think this should be possible.

I thought dispatches were tied to the nation name. Nations can edit most of the things under their name. We've got warnings in the Mod Center about RMB posts being tied to nation names. I assumed dispatches were coded the same way.

Still waiting for a GHR asking for old dispatches to be removed.
