Also, would you care to explain why the bot wants Administrator rights by default in every Discord Server it's added to? You do realise that 99.999999% of Discord Bots literally never need that level of power... Right? It's also extremely dangerous to grant that to a bot. I'm telling you that a bot that runs off of a single dedicated server is inherently unscalable. That is a fact. It is true whether or not you respond and whether or not you think about it. There are two further corollaries to your choice of a proprietary code base: (1) nobody will trust you with their client keys if they cannot find out what is going on inside your black box; (2) they cannot set up instances for themselves without being able to download the bot binaries – though if it is in Python, those binaries and the source are practically one and the same, – to host for themselves.

This sounds like a bit of a mess. At that point, why not just put the bot code into a public GitHub repository? Then they can just git pull whenever they want to update...

Tell you what, I'll do this for you once only as a favour because I'm feeling generous. If you want to keep the bot working with at least more... Reasonable... Bot Permissions on Discord's side upon invite, at least consider making it so the bot asks for 414531832896 (if you don't need Manage Roles) or 414800268352 (if you do need Manage Roles) or 414800268368 if you desperately need Manage Roles and Manage Channels. It's WAY safer than 8 which is Administrator... Even if your bot isn't exactly ready for Manage insert anything at all...
