Yep. I've put a request in for that to be changed.

I would have thought they could have delegate off the bat, even if they will msot likely lose it at the first update.

This is how things are (unless I missed something) if you found a region with a non-executive founder in the current version, so it's precedented. Though maybe the founder starting off with the main five regional officer perms upon founding a frontier (or non-exec region) would be optimal.

It would have been nice to know (as a new player) that Frontiers are not regions that you can edit as the founder. Is there a way to change my new region from Frontier to something else where I can edit my region?

Yes, it is possible to transition away from Frontier status. The FAQ and the News post have information on Frontiers:

If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. | Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’
James 1:26-27, Matthew 7:21-23

This should be implemented now.

At the risk of being criticised by certain people for suggesting this; but shouldn't nation respawns work in the same way as foundings so that:

The Current Sinkers/Restorers + the Rejected Realms get 50 percent of all refounds

The other 50 percent being refounded on frontiers using the same magnetism mechanic used on frontiers

I am thinking that if regions get founded on User Created Regions, they should also recieve restorations as well

What do you mean by "not refounding nation respawns"?

Sorry if this is a bit late, but in the criteria for a frontier to be viable for spawns, it mentions that it can't have more than 5,000 nations, but the largest frontier has less than 2,000. Maybe that cap wasn't as needed?
