One important thing to do when using Imgur and their one-click get-link thing. When you do that, you will get a http://imgur.com/ link, which the forums do not process. You have to change the link to http://www.imgur.com/ and voila - images. Just figured I'd point that out in case people have issues with it and think that Imgur is not whitelisted or bugged for them.

However, is that Secure for this Trick? using HTTP Links is considered to be Unsecure, and i think HTTPS is more Better.

Thanks: I've run into this problem before now, and didn't know what was causing it.
(And commiserations to your Quidditch team: Going by the score before the Bears' seeker got lucky & caught the snitch, your players were almost certainly better otherwise than ourrs...)

All we can do is live with it until we get better forum software -- complaining unconstructively won't speed that up.

I don't think its a punishment. Whats wrong with the 'tiny pool of places we can post images from'? Upgrading the games software would mean that the game would have to be shutdown which no one would want.

Ameriganastan, if you have something constructive to post - such as suggesting other images hosts to approve - then post it. If you're just complaining, then your point is made and there's no further need to post; it's not going to change the situation.

Surely that's "to post images"? Or are new accounts not allowed to post even ordinary messages on the forums now?

It would not Change the Situation if you complain more, and our hope is to get a New Forum Software for NS Forums. I Personally favoured this Moderation Policy, but there is an Limit for us. Once Again, since Sedgistan Mentioned that, you can Complain, but this would not improve any Situation.

^this, I wasted almost half an hour figuring this out and when I did, I felt quite dumb Check your links properly, peeps.

This had better be temporary until that "security issue" is fixed.

So that confirms that it has to be www. before the deviantart.com.
