Why was Discord banned?

It was popular with spammers. But we now don't permit brand new accounts to post on the forums at all, so possibly we can reinstate it... it's up to mods.

All we can do is live with it until we get better forum software -- complaining unconstructively won't speed that up.

I don't think its a punishment. Whats wrong with the 'tiny pool of places we can post images from'? Upgrading the games software would mean that the game would have to be shutdown which no one would want.

I think that applies for only images, as far as I'm aware.
