Sometimes, whenever someone quotes me, I never get a notification. I know 100% for sure that I get notified for quotes, and I do get notified on most quotes, but some just lag, and never show up in my notifications.

Do you have an example? I don't think edits tag you, as otherwise you'd be tagged every time someone edited their post.

Like a friend of mine quoted me asking something in the RMB, but I did not get a notification.

Might be worth being a bit more specific. Can you link the specific post, and screenshot your notifications panel? Also check this panel (https://www.nationstates.net/page=subscriptions) and see if you've got RMB mentions enabled? Often people either miss the notification, or don't have them enabled.

Hi buddy, check your settings and enable subscription and opt-in for receiving emails from the forum, then you will get notifications.

Subscriptions were disabled years ago. People kept reporting them as spam, which made it difficult for NS to send necessary emails. So they had to go.

This thread is about receiving notices from the RMB.
