I Can't Bring Back My Old Nation!

Hello!

I have lost my password to a nation with a great unique name.



Years ago in college, I had waited for what felt like forever until the name was free and I built it up to over 3 bio. But because of life circumstances at the time it wasn't possible for me to log in for quite some time and the nation went dead ~7 or 8 years ago.


I don't know how to use the current password reset function, because I do not remember the e-mail address I used roughly a decade ago, or if I even used one. But if I did use one, it's most probably still set up to forward mails to my main e-mail address.

Is there a way to reset access? Is it possible to send out a password recovery mail to the original e-maill address?

I have been wishing to rejoin for ages! Please help!

Sorry to be a downer but that nation is lost permanently if you do not know the password.

If you still have access to the recovery email to prove ownership, I believe you can file a Getting Help Request.

This post from mod Luna would appear to confirm it.

EDIT: Sorry, I just read closer and found that you no longer remember the email account you used. [/notamod] But, it would possibly be very hard to prove ownership with neither email account nor password.

I suspect that I still have access to the original e-mail-adress without knowing it, because I usually set up forwarding rules.

So if a mod / admin can trigger the passsword recovery, I should (hopefully) receive the automated password recoery mail.

I put in a request, let''s hope for the best. If this works, I'll update the post.
