When you get voted on, you'll be placed onto the leaderboard, and there will be a note on your main nation page. You can also check your regional leaderboard to see if you're listed there.

The leaderboard tab at the top of the screen is outdated.

Yes, it can lag by a few minutes.

When you vote, two new nations are selected for your consideration. If you then vote for anyone but those two, you will hit this error.

It can be triggered if you have a couple of browser tabs open to the voting page: Once you vote in the first tab, the choices in the second tab will become invalid.

So what happens if we somehow manage to encounter all 247,500 nations or so on our electoral travels, since there won't be any "new nations" to choose from? :P

The RNG seems off, how can some nations be rated several times by now, while others haven't been rated at all.

Seems like if your nation got an upvote earlier on it is likely to remain in the top and receive more chances for votes, while if your nation was rate down once, or never rated you're unlikely to ever make the top 30k.

I'd suspect perhaps it's a result of some nations choosing "neither"? I'm not entirely sure, just a guess.

Just got Sp0ink for a second time, and my nation hasn't even been voted on.... >_>

Basically, anyone in the top 100 stands a chance, anyone who isn't or hasn't gotten a vote yet has already lost.

GG

You can get repeats. I mean "new" just in the sense that it's a new random draw each time.

This just proves that it is a more true random sample that doesn't remove anyone from the pool.
There is always also a chance that your nation came up and got voted against this would also result in not having a ranking (or there are limited votes for)

You can ignore it, it's just a green banner at the top of the page.

Randomness is like that! It's not a round robin where all nations would be voted on the same number of times.

Once the event is six hours old, you are less likely to be asked to vote on nations with few/no votes. Beginning then, there will indeed be a kind of snowball effect. But nations earn points based on the quality of the nations they are preferred over, so they can catch up quickly. That is, it's better to be preferred once over a popular nation than to be preferred several times over an unpopular one.

Right now, though, it is purely random draws.

I'm consistently getting a malfunction where clicking on a option recycles the match, possibly registering multiple votes. Waiting the for page to fully load, leaving the page and come back, picking the other candidate, none of these change anything. Only clicking "neither" will resolve a bugged match immediately, otherwise I can keep clicking a vote 30-40 times before it will move on.

Hmm ok, gotta believe that's true since you wrote the script lol. Crazy i've gotten repeats of the top people though, gotta be astronomical odds of that.

Right now, at past 4 hours into the event I still don't have a ranking on my nation page. That means I haven't even been put in a match yet, correct? I would like to be ranked, but it looks like there's a good chance I won't get any ranking at all with what you've said

no fun :(

Can you explain this better please? From what I get, you're saying that any nation not yet ranked at the 6 hour mark won't be voted upon after that point?

I'm pretty sure she's saying that nations with little votes at 21:00 PST will show up less frequently.
