Just a quick question so I don't get in trouble: if my friend at school (who has never logged into my computer on their NS account) is in the World Assembly, can I be in it too? Or, do they have to log into my computer for us to be breaking rules?

I just want to know before I join. Thanks!

I dont know what IP is, but I think if you use different computers you're fine.

Strange. I've never encountered this issue. It's most likely based on IP then.

Most school players share a common WiFi or school IP address and network. This is also true for players sharing a network at home or work.

It's most likely based on IP then.

As you can see, over time they record many useragents (e.g. the browser you're using and your operating system) and many different IPs. I actually have 207 IPs recorded on this site. I'm no expert, but I know that IP addresses depend on the network you're on. And sometimes they get re-assigned by the ISP (Internet Service Provider).

I'm not a moderator, but I suspect this is mainly a matter of reason for them. If two WAs get flagged as having the same IP addresses, they probably go in and consider the chances that it's multi-ing. If twenty new (and inactive) WAs were all created on the same network within a week of each other, it's obviously multi-ing.

I'm not going to try to understand or dissect it. I'd just listen to Fris and play the game normally.
