World Census incomplete...

So noted today I've managed to get within the bottom end for worse environment, with my page reporting I'm 238,875th of 238,984.

But at the same time if I go to the bottom end of the census table...

It only goes to 238850 nations.

Where's the lowest end gone? Is this some artefact of fluctuating number of nations in the game, or a bug? It'd be nice to know what the lowest end of any given census is.

ive wondered this too, like on the first page it tells you your number in the world but when i type my number in it goes to a blank page. i typed in my number cause i was curious and wanted see which nations are ahead of me in X catagory

I thought I could try and comment on this based on my experiences with the Political Apathy stat, but I realised that if it is what I think it is, it should be fixable. Because nations only CTE at update, the final count of nations at the end of update should always be less than the number of nations existing in the world - you can found a nation between updates but you can't get that nation to CTE. This is contrary to the experience here, where the real amount of nations is less than the quoted figure.

I'd guess it's because the "count" of nations is done at the very start of update, then nations CTE during update, and newly-created nations aren't ranked until next update. This would create a scenario where the actual number of nations is less than the quoted number. If that's the case, it should be as easy as updating the "count" of nations at the end of update instead of the start, once all the unused nations have CTE'd.

Page numbers are very different to census numbers - there are 10 nations on each page. Try dividing your census number by 10 and typing that number in instead. Today, for instance, if you typed in 49,000 as your page number, it would take you to a page showing nations 489,990 to 490,000 - and these nations don't exist, as there's only 200,000 or so nations in the world.
