Question about "Democratic Socialists" type

Hi, I think (I hope I'm not wrong) this definition for my type of nation is quite incorrect.

In social democracy entrepreneurs own the industries just like they would in a standard capitalist economy. In socialism the workers own them instead which is very different.
Well, if you see the description of nations like mine you will see: "is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal,"
social democrats embraced a mixed economy based on the predominance of private property, with only a minority of essential utilities and public services under public ownership.

I don't think I deciced in an issue to make private enterprise legal, but also if I did this the description is always incorrect.

NS usually like to exaggerate things and make far reaching conclusions to simple decisions that otherwise would make no difference in the real world.
You can just say in your signature or factbooks what is the governmental system that you try to run so as not to get the wrong idea.

im not sure what you're asking, are you asking why you are labled as "democratic socialists" and wondering why private enterprise is illegal?
or is it the other way around?

when creating your nation did you pick the "socialist" nation type? if so that's why.
there are officially only two economic policies that decide if you are capitalist or socialist. if you want a "mixed economy" you will have to make a nation without the socialist policy. the capitalist policy if the only one that allows "private industry" or you could make a factbook stating you are a mixed economy with your own stats rather than your gameplay stats to make it canon like many others on this site do.

also "democratic socialism" is different than social democracy or social market economy.

Also, the game only has 27 categories that every possible government needs to be sorted into somehow, so sometimes some of the weirder governments might be assigned in a way that doesn't make perfect sense. In particular, keep in mind that the game's actual interpretation of economic freedoms involves a sliding scale that takes more than just the presence or absence of private enterprise into account.
