Idea: Ability to go back and change issue responses

Postby Saire Weevia » Sun Jan 24, 2021 12:30 am

I recently clicked the wrong issue response and it put in capital punishment. It would be nice if there was a few minutes after clicking on a response where you could go back and change it. Putting warning dialog boxes on issue responses that change policies would also be a good idea
Saire Weevia started as a British Colony, then it was conquered by Russia,it became the only English-speaking republic of the USSR after the October Revolution, and then when the USSR collapsed they kept their flag rather than changing it and democratized their communism rather than adopting capitalism

If you want to abolish the Capital Punishment policy in your nation, wait for another vaguely relevant issue to come up... not site staff, just common sense

There is a button called "Require confirmation before passing legislation" in Settings. Activate it and you'll receive a warning anytime before you choose an option.

Just wanting to add on to this, we got [v] to put it in purely for this situation.

One of the main points of this game is that careless or thoughtless choices lead to unexpected outcomes. That's a feature, not a bug.

We've been asked for an Undo button hundreds of times over the past two decades. It's not going to happen. It utterly subverts the basic concept of the game.
