Nation motto changed on trading cards

Postby Otaku Stratus » Fri Jan 22, 2021 12:00 am

Any way of undoing the change made to my nation's motto on the trading cards? I didn't do it, a vindictive mod did. Now those cards just look stupid.

Mods do such things only with good reason, not because they're "vindictive". If you want to appeal a gameside mod decision you can do so via the help page. /notamod

Wow I read that, and I am just lost. I don't know if it's because I'm sleepy or what, but I have no idea what the procedure is. Also, I looked on the help page first and I didn't see any of this, just for the record. Is it okay to skip straight to appeals? (it sounds like it isn't?) and is there a link directly or approximately to that??

I don't know what you're talking about or what you were reading. The link is to the Appeals section of the rules. There are two short paragraphs describing initial appeals- one for forumside reports and one for gameside reports. You want to file a gameside appeal, so read the second paragraph. I've copied it below for your convenience, with a link to the GHR page. That is where you submit the appeal.

For game problems, Getting Help is your first choice. You may ask for a review of moderation decisions. If there are also forum issues, include links to the threads. For deletions, be certain to include another nation name or an email address where you may be reached. Game rulings are logged by the system, so we know who made the original ruling and will pass it to a different Game Mod for the appeal.
If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. | Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’
James 1:26-27, Matthew 7:21-23

Oh thanks! I must have confused the 'getting help' page with just the 'help' page. @_@ I'm not usually this retarded, I swear.

EDIT: Wow, thanks! That worked. I've been here for so long and never learned even the basic stuff on this site..
