Regional Message Board Bug

There's been a recent bug with the Regional Message Board (RMB). People have been reporting that when they refresh, click on a RMB notification, or view other comments, they will instead end up in a suppressed message from 9 years ago or in a non-existent page with "There are no lodged messages as of present." This has been happening for the past few days. Can you please fix this problem as soon as possible?

Posting to add that this is also happening to me. On both the Firefox and Chrome browsers. It seems to vary on whether it happens or not, but mostly always results in the reported issues of being sent to random suppressed or old posts from years ago, or to a non-existent page.

This happens when moderators have to delete a significant number of posts, which causes a regional message board to have fewer posts than the system expects.

Adding code to make sure to clean that up.
