Russian Slogan? attn [Violet]

In settings it won't let me upload a Russian Slogan. And it was SHORTER then my previous one. I tried on words in Russian and it said it was too long. it was 5-6 characters. Is this a bug or does it only allow English?

One thing, I thought the cyrillic characters took up more space than the english ones did. I think this came up in regards to WFE quite awhile back.

Probably. If they're stored as UTF-8 they take up two bytes per character, meaning they game might read it as twice as long as it actually appears.

It's potentially worse than that. It's likely stored as HTML escaped unicode which will result in a string 7 or 8 times as long as it appears in Cyrillic.
