From past memory, updates only happen once an hour. So I would presume in about 20 min we'll have updates on our cure missile status.

From my memory as well, this.

You would have to assume that, because there's no indicator for cure or kill weapon progress. That's the problem.

The Z-day zombie graphs and superweapon progress update every hour. Wait about 20 minutes and you'll get your cure/kill superweapon.

That said, I feel like last year you got a the base superweapon for your first choice immediately, but I don't remember for sure.

Here's hoping. Seems a bit silly not to at least indicate that there will be progress by having it at 0%, but if it updates on the hour, then at least the entire event isn't broken.

Let's hope you're right

looks like the progress is off-sync? 3 minutes past the hour and nothing yet

Yep, still not working for me either!

It appears to be staggered. Some already have it, some don't. We're still in the dark over in TLA, but most of our embassy partners have updated. It's odd.

Okay all I have are hordes but I am using the military, the game is bugged I think.

This is how it is every year. The Horde superweapon develops first and fastest and it develops for everyone, then as updates roll out your choices start to take effect. Over time you develop the superweapon you want. With the exception of the first few minutes where Cure options weren't sticking this is working like it has every year.

Edit: Of course a gameside crash doesn't help things.

Cool, that crash had me worried though lol.

I've chosen to cure, and it says 50% developed (same with infect) but for some reason it doesn't let me send cure missiles.

You need 100% development before you can use a superweapon. Then it will continue to develop bigger and stronger levels of the superweapon, and you will be able to use them all the while. (20 second interval between strikes, 2:00 timer(?could be wrong my memory fails me) if you are yourself hit)

OK, cool. Also can I cure myself using other puppets? And for some reason the development for cure is not increasing,.

In theory yes. If you have puppets in your region and they have cure missiles they can cure you, though that will reset your own timers. And until your regional infection rate is lowered, every update more citizens will become infected regardless of your own cure missile level and development, plus this doesn't prevent horde empires from attacking and infecting you.

Superweapon development goes up every update on/around the hour.

I have a problem: my main (skm) I am using to cure my puppets, but there is then an error where my puppets cannot access my nation page to cure my main. In fact, I don’t believe any nation can now view SKM, meaning it cannot be cured.

I seem to recall this glitch also happening last year (selected "cure," went back to it several hours later to find "horde" was selected; both last year and this year). Is there a fix in the works for future years, to prevent this from happening again?

It does automatically switch to horde if you are overrun.

Not a glitch. Admins decided (2017, I think) that "subverting command and control structures" would be a cool thing for zombie hordes to do.

From the recent news:

I have received scattered reports of roving bands of undead feasting upon the living. To which I say: Thank you, and we'll deal with those as soon as we can.

The real problem I want to discuss, though, is how some regions have closed their borders, and nations have redirected their resources into researching a "cure," or even exterminating zombie hordes with military force. I can't emphasize enough that this is a complete over-reaction. It is, in fact, this kind of needless fear that stokes division and prevents us from returning quickly to a regular lifestyle.

As such, I am hereby taking the unprecedented step of ordering an immediate halt to all cure-researching facilities world-wide.

I expect this to be completed within the next 30 minutes. Nations in the process of researching a cure will find that that research has automatically stopped.

As these facilities are located within your nations, I can't prevent you from starting them up again. But I urge you not to do so, and to instead embrace a quick return to normal life alongside the zombies.

I'm not exactly sure what is the point of this, but I guess this is where I will unfortunately have to stop; I was aiming on curing (maintaining all my puppets, of course, not a cure-and-run), but alas, it was fun while it lasted.

Actually, you can reverse the cancellation, by choosing the cure option again. Max is enjoying himself RPing as the NS Trump, and he's doing well in his role. :)

Oh, I am aware of that. Thankfully it is not permanent.

But unfortunately, while it really was fun while it lasted, I have other work to do, so there is that.

I'm sure that sounded like a good idea for metagamers and people with coordinated groups awake at all hours of the day. Me, I slept and woke up to see my only options is to kill since my cure nations stagnated.

BTW, When will the z day end, and when will they allow you to found your own regions?
