When a nation activates the "no cards" thing on the Settings page, in addition to the nation not receiving cards when answering issues, cards of that nation shouldn't be created when a new season comes out.

And that thing should automatically be activated for all of the Wombles. Only them. Stop misunderstanding it as all nations. Thank you very much.

I would definitely support the Wombles being left out of being printed next season, but this is unlikely to happen.

This would really annoy existing players if it was enabled by default. I don't think we should punish Womble for having too many puppets, and if this was instead applied by default for everyone, that would force card farmers to manually disable "Opt out of cards" on every puppet.

I would definitely support the Wombles being left out of being printed next season, but this is unlikely to happen.

Now that's another thing I can agree with you on, the Womble puppets (well, any massive puppet fleet really) are oddly more annoying than one would think when you're opening packs. I don't think that nations should be opted out of cards by default or something like that, because that would mean everybody would have to go through an manually re-enable it, but if somehow those huge puppet hordes weren't given their own cards for S3, I wouldn't complain.

Snarkily stating that Wombles shouldn't get a card isn't really the same as whining. 0.01 junk value for 8000 nations could be worse. That still adds up to 80 free bank.

Definitely we'd lose a lot of cards for regional collections if people had to manually enable a card feature. An opt-out would be as bad in that regard. There are certain collections which depend on every nation in a region having a card at the time of the snapshot.

I agree we shouldn't enable "opt-out of cards" by default. Plus, not all card farmers have default-flag farms: there are card farmers who spend some time to find interesting flags (such as cards they'd like to collect next season; or animated flags) and those are nice cards to find.

Unfortunately, the ones who don't do that often leave thousands of cards with default flags. While I wouldn't mind if cards of large default-flag farms were opted out in season 3, this is very unlikely to actually happen so I guess we'll need to deal with them.

Not quite. Each junk action has to be manually confirmed. In addition to no simultaneity ofc.
