It may be because you inserted a strange character. I know I tried to enter my motto before, and the flower caused the error.

Is the error from trying to insert a flower character.

It seems to happen with random emojis that I use.
I have never had any problems with them until the last 12 hours or so.

I have had this problem with the flower emoji since I first tried to use it.

It isn't strange, emoji just aren't supported on the forums.

That's all it is.

Considering I have never had a problem with using them, I will wait for the Admins/Mods to respond.

Bruh, the error you got is literally because you used the grimace face emoji.

'Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x98\xAC' for column 'post_text' at row 1 [1366]'

\xF0\x9F\x98\xAC is literally the UTF-8 encoding for the grimace face emoji and if you just did a basic search on these forums you would literally find multiple threads of people getting night-identical errors because emoji are not supported on the forums.

You don't need an admin to tell you what people who have been here for years know.

I’ve discovered virtually every emoji that is used/was created by Apple doesn’t work

I don't think Apple creates emoji, they just use the emoji that Unicode has. Unicode itself has emoji in various different blocks, though, and it could be that some of them are not supported. (I could be wrong about this)

they created the images, but that's irrelevant.
it's really annoying with autocorrect adding emojis though
