Time zones off?

I live in the Central Time zone in America but when I selected that here on the forums it was actually an hour behind the actual time. I had to go to the Eastern Time zone to get the right time. I think something is weird there...

Your Daylight Savings Time? You can turn it on/off in your UCP (User Control Panel), under Board Preferences.

That's weird. I live in the CT zone, and the times on my posts are 3 hours behind.
Are you sure you don't live in WA, OR, or California?
'Cause I originally thought that the website was based in Alaska.
Must be when of the many reasons that they upgraded to NationStates2.
Which is much less interactive than the original NS.net.
