Normally with some threads in here I would see the exclamation mark about whether it is secure or not but today it seems several threads are now just straight up not secure. Is there a reason for this? All of these threads seem to have images on the OP post if there is a link to that.

I get that for many websites I think its something up with the software in Microsoft, Google or whoever try and refresh its what I do

Some forum topics have that at first page for some reason. The news page is pretty much always not secure I heard.

I think that it is because one or more images in the page are hosted on sites which don't have a security certificate, a.k.a the https:// in the address bar. You can check that by right-clicking on the image and clicking on ''open image in a new tab'', to see if it has the key at the left side of web address. To fix that you can try to replace the ''http'' with ''https'' in the web address bar, or try to find an another image which is hosted on a site with secure connection (In case if it is your post - if it is by someone else, you can tell them to do that). That said, previously it only showed this symbol if it didn't have a certificate, and a red triangle appeared only if the site was marked as one which could be dangerous or something was severely wrong with the privacy. I think that it might be a part of a recent visual update or something, tho, because I haven't seen a grey triangle before.

For example, in this page there is no triangle, as all images are hosted on sites with security certificate (Imgur in this case).

I've noticed that for some the issue comes from an image made by another player because the images I used on my RP were secured by the one used by another player was not.

Yeah. I found one in my Rp and two in another. It's just I'm concern because my computer is old and I don't want to risk it getting infected. I lost my previous computers due to viruses so I'm keen on not having history repeat itself.

I'm sure an admin will be along eventually to give the "official" response to the query, but it'll likely just be something along the lines of "we can't fix it without breaking site usability in terms of people needing to use third-party assets such as images etc."
