Got Season 1 Card

I just pulled a season one card named "Totally Not Merlin 39". I'm fairly certain you aren't supposed to be able to pull season 1 cards during season 2. I'm not complaining for getting a valuable card, but I would assume this is a bug.

S1 packs have a 1% chance - though it appears you actually pulled the card via TCALS.

Notice that a transfer is occurring on the card between TNL and one of their puppets. When cards are on the market well above their supposed value, the game inserts the card into fresh packs in an attempt to prevent large scale laundering operations. This system is known as TCALS.

Thanks for the help! I guess it is nice to have a high value season 1 card anyway and it is good to know that it isn't a glitch in the system.

I must have gotten shit lucky then once… managed to pull a entire S1 pack, junked them though. In the end, don’t find a need for commons.

That's actually pretty common, the 1% chance of a S1 pack will always produce 5 S1 cards unless TCALS kicks in with a S2 card.

Huh. That’s cool.
Still, a 1% chance is pretty rare.

Are you sure it is a 1% chance? I have pulled at least 100 packs with this nation with about 90 on another nation and 9 on a third short lived nation and this is the first time I have ever gotten an S1 pack.

That could just be bad luck.

Gambler's fallacy

Contrary to our intuition, the chance of getting a S1 pack does not go up every time you get a S2 pack. The probability does not depend on past events, so it is entirely possible to get 100 or 150 or 200 S2 packs before a single S1 pack, even with a 1% chance of a S1 pack.
