Alright, this is an issue that has been plaguing me for months, but I've only bothered to do it now since it seems to be ramping up. I had my nation open in a private window (closed it now since it was redundant, when I was doing something with a different nation on my non-private window), and I just closed it, although it was happening, albeit to a lesser degree, prior to the problem.

It happens on both phone and laptop, and regardless of what I turn on and off in my addons. I use Firefox but it doesn't seem to be a browser problem since it happens to my phone too...Please help me, this is annoying.

Also, on another note, this literally happened while I was typing this.

It helps to explain what the issue is. When do you get logged out?

You will get automatically logged out if you spend too much time without doing anything, which is entirely intentional. You can enable autologin in your settings, which won't actually prevent you from getting logged out, but will feel similar to that from a user perspective.

If you mean something else, you need to be clearer.

What happens is (and this is only on the forums), I spend a few minutes doing ANYTHING, even browsing or submitting short messages every minute or so, and it automatically logs me out for some reason. Don't know why.

I'm pretty sure login/logout issues can be caused by cookie settings - the game needs to store cookies in your browser to keep you logged in, so blocking cookies can stop the site from keeping you logged in across pages. Check your cookie settings to see if NS is allowed to save information.

EDIT: I've also just noticed that the forum lists you as an "Ex-Nation", which might hint at some underlying issues? However, it might just mean your forum profile and gameside profile are out-of-sync. Mods/Techies can fix that, though, so if/when one happens across the thread they should definitely check that out.

Logging in on another device (as in phone/laptop) will also invalidate a logged-in session for any other device you've used or are using - are you only browsing on one device at a time?

To be clear, this does not only happen when you're using private windows? Because you mentioned that you were, and that could mess with cookie settings.

It could be the problem - if you open and log into NS as "Emazia" on your phone, it will log you out of NS (as "Emazia") on your laptop, and vice versa. You can't be logged in as the same nation on multiple devices.

No, that is a deliberate decision. There's no realistic need to be logged in as the same nation on multiple devices, and there's almost certainly security risks that would result from allowing that practice.

If that's what's causing the issue - just don't use your phone and laptop at the same time! Play NS on your laptop and leave your phone somewhere else, or have a second nation and log in as that nation on your phone.

One Question, Do you enabled the "Log-in Automatically" on your Device or Computer? So, if you are logging in, You don't need to Type your Nation Name and Password. But, this Feature may not work on Private Tabs for Some Reasons.
