Can [columns] BBCode be added?

Postby Picairn » Tue Jul 07, 2020 2:01 am

I was working on a template for my nation's newspaper, which closely mirrors the New York Times style. I noticed that at the end of every article, the NYT (or any news website, really) adds a navigating menu with columns of different topics. When I researched about this format in BBCode, I came across the [columns] code in the NBBC: The New BBCode parser page, which doesn't work in NationStates. So I wonder if the [columns] code can be added in, you know, for my enhanced experience? :p Thank you.

You can probably achieve something reasonably similar with a table with the "plain" option to remove the borders of rows and columns. (see here for examples). I remember doing that in HTML to get a crude column effect :)

Thank you! I just used it to create a navigating menu on the Stormridge Times' front page. Not as fancy as the real one but maybe some day I will have the time to make.
