WebTrigger
The easiest raid preparation solution out there.

Hello Gameplay! How many times have you thought "Oh, I need to get together a raid tonight but we're an hour out and I still haven't started target finding." ...is that just me? oh, okay then, I see how it is.

Err... take two.

Hello Gameplay! Let's make target finding easier and more accessible to all! Now introducing WebTrigger, an all-in-one solution for sheet generation and target finding! Featuring a simple, easy to use interface, WebTrigger makes your R/D activities much faster. What used to take upwards of 30 minutes scrolling through a spyglass sheet now takes ten minutes.

This tool was developed by Zizou and myself. We're both more than happy to answer any questions you may have about it, and will always take bug reports, either here or via Discord. Another good way is to raise an issue on github and we'll check it out ASAP.

Zizou's tag: Zizou##4903
My tag: Aav#7137

This thread will be updated when we release new tools on that site/update currently existing tools.

Without commenting on the tool itself, generally any kind of tools go in the Technical forum ;)

Edit: /notamod, etc

Was kinda flipflopping between the two, tbh. I wasn't sure if it was more pertinent to this forum because it was a solely gameplay related tool, but also it's a tool, not a regional update etc. Guess I chose wrong :p

Looks cool. Is there like a guide on how to use it?

We're working on proper documentation, but it should be fairly self-explanatory. If you need help with a particular part just ask :)

Alright. Maybe I’m just dumb, but what does Major/Minor update in seconds mean?

It's basically the same input that Spyglass takes whenever you specify custom update lengths.

So say last major update lasted 2.5hrs, and last minor update lasted 1.5hrs. You would put 9000 as your length for major, and 5400 as your length for minor (since 2.5hrs=9000s, etc.).

Ah, ok. Thanks

It's the duration of the updates in seconds. i.e if update starts at 0000hrs Eastern and ends at 0130hrs Eastern, it lasted an hour and a half, or 90 minutes. Convert to seconds (90*60 = 5400), and input that for the major update. You'd do the same for the minor update. We're currently working on a little "clock" that tells you those values.

Report Generator Release

Now introducing the Report Generator! Currently in 1.0.0a, the Report Generator is a downloadable piece of software that helps organize your post-raid efforts. While currently the feature set is limited, it currently outputs your information in a text file, and links the targets. You can find the downloads page here.

More features will come in future releases. As per usual, bug reports are appreciated.
