CAPTCHA's are back

Title explains it, sometimes when I try to reply or post I'm greeted with a CAPTCHA page waiting for confirmation that I'm not a bot.

And yes, I've ran my Anti-Virus 3 times, still get it popping up.

Just got it too a second ago

After some disputes within the PVV and the CDP about the new political party (National Party of the Netherlands) PM Legtenberg announced that the name will be the Conservative Party. Because the initial NPN became associated with far-right parties NSB and NSDAP in the '30s and '40s. PM Legtenberg further announced that the Netherlands wil also be a Federal Republic from 1 January 2024. And that he will become the first President of the Netherlands. How this will affect the elections will be decided by him and the House

Which browser/device? Are you using a VPN? Who is your ISP etc.?

They're not dangerous, it's a way for the site to limit spam. This does mean it's somewhat of an inconvenience for your average, non-spamming user, however. Filling out CAPTCHAs and RE-CAPTCHAs won't do any damage to your computer.

I figured it was a thing for everyone to get it daily like me. I get it once a day before I either post or hit preview. And yes, I assumed it was mostly to address spam and bots more than anything.

Got one yesterday. At first I thought the site had been hacked or I got infected with malware. Antivirus cleared that up.

Maybe it's because of the Banana Kid.

I got one last night submitting a post in NSG. It was the one with the pictures where you have to select all the pictures containing trains, cars, etc.; SO annoying, but functionally harmless.

Confirmed here too, had it when editing the OP post to the Covid-19 thread.

I suspect its related to the size of the data being transmitted. If it goes past beyond a certain chunk size, the CAPTCHA fires.

hello since last night. Im still having the same problem with the same thread, it seems impossible to overcome the captcha obstacle. I pretty much in the dark here, not sure if this is hacking or if i should create another thread and save what I can from the old one. Thank you
