maybe make it optional for the bottom% trophies to apperar

The optional idea has been proposed here, which is good for those who don't want those bottom trophies.

There are a lot of stats, however, that do not have polar opposites. Especially Civil Rights, Economy, and Political Freedom, all of which are on a nation's main page, and all of which lack a direct opposite. (Of course there are a variety of others like Culture, Weather, the industries, etc.)

Adding opposite stats would be good. You wouldn't need new values, as you could use the existing ones.
However, I would prefer them to remain as top 1%, 5% and 10%. Adding the word "least" or "worst" should be enough, such as: "Least political freedom", "Worst economy" or "Worst weather".

Nation pages and trading cards currently display your 3 top stats. Adding new low percent badges would be a lot more controversial than making some more top percent badges.

I think the social conservatism stat is the inverse of the civil rights stat.

Pretty sure those are not opposites.

Maybe not in reality, but in NS stats, I'm pretty sure they are. All of my Civil Rights spikes coincide with Social Conservatism crashes, and vice versa.

Catholic Libertarian. Gov't has no authority, all authority is from God. God grants us free will, gov't should not infringe upon it. Legislating morality is wrong. Only exception is protecting rights to life, liberty, and property. Abortion is killing an infant, one of the few things gov't should prevent. Social Conservatism is a perfect inverse of the 'unsmooshed' Civil Rights census.

Compare this and this.
