This makes no sense. TCALS is a completely different problem for a completely different thread, you just seem adamant on pointing this out for no reason.

but the rest of us who don't are free to not comply with your demands.

You have complete freedom to do whatever you want with the cards you acquire. However, from a logical standpoint, you are junking cards that people are willing to pay more than junk value for. It seems more like you want to exercise some level of control over other traders for seemingly no reason, and you're so proud of this that you've commented randomly on a 6 month old thread.

Additionally, you do realize that some people play the game differently than you, right? Removing CTE card spawns would make it nearly impossible for a good portion of the player base to enjoy the trading cards game.

Some players = a very few players. That's bc there are over 208,000 non CTE nations in existence and once the CTEs are added, whoa, Maybe over 300,000. Add a second season of cards and we are at over half a million cards. Collecting a copy of each of those cards in any rationale appears an impossible and fruitless task No?

But sure, it takes all kinds as they say and there are a couple players out of the hundred and so thousand of us which have cards who think it's a fun idea, but they are an extreme minority.

I don't see what point you're trying to prove here. There are many collectors(perhaps the majority of players) collecting sets of cards that come from an exact set, and many of the cards in those sets have CTEd. It would be a shame if none of them were completed because a nation ceased to exist, which is a common and frequent event. Second, the pool is barely diluted by the spawning of CTE nations, so in the current system, you still get non-CTE cards a very reasonable portion of the time. Without CTE card spawning, you remove 210 thousand cards from the pool. It's not about collecting every single card in the game, you're right that very few people are taking on that task, but that's besides the point.

AH HA! I made you say it. That's what you are doing with the abusive use of the TCALS mechanic, dude. You are trying to gain some control over which cards are dealt in the packs you draw. And this is at the expense of others.

I actually haven't junked any cards anyone wanted other than by accident. I threatened to do this to one of your Discord pals a couple days ago. I set a little trap for you. You took the bait. So will you please stop doing it?

So let me get this straight... You continue on your trend of making ridiculous asks for low owner cards, are surprised when people don't bite, then post on an old thread irrelevant to TCALS... in order to make a fallacious statement and claim it was all "bait" to ask me specifically to stop abusing TCALS?

Last I checked, TCALS is not enabling me to hold a card over someone's head, I am not taking cards from someone's deck, anyone can do it, etc.. Where's the "expense of others" happening here? Ironically enough most of my pull events have little to no effect on any other trader besides giving a lucky puller some extra bank.

You could have just TGed me, and I would have responded the exact same way: "You can't always get what you want," right?

Yet again, not the point of the thread, perhaps read my previous comment if you actually feel like debating the merits of CTE card spawns.

Have a nice day.

Vous êtes l'accusé.

The thread is called Obtaining Unobtainable Cards. That's what you do. So this conversation belongs here. You can't seem to ever portray yourself straight. Most players don't like what you've done and what you continue to do even after being called out. You are rigging the game against other players in countless auctions by raising your odds and lowering theirs of obtaining valuable cards. You do this by using despicable bidding practices which abuse the mechanics of TCALS. This should be stopped.

Bonne nuit à vous, monsieur.

Have you read this thread?

It's not about TCALS. It was never about TCALS. In fact, we even have a shiny TCALS thread right here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=485209

And maybe if you read that thread you'll see that most players are supporting a change that keeps the print mechanic in place, so clearly my auctions aren't that damaging. Not once has someone told me I'm breaking the game, and if they wanted to stop it, they can just block the event. Instead they too open packs, hoping to make some bank because ultimately TCALSing my card doesn't really hurt anyone besides my bank figures when people decide to sell.

Heisting is pretty detrimental, lots of players complain about it. Doesn't mean that we should remove underasking?

Sniping is found annoying by most players too, should we remove bidding?

You know what, people find bad trade deals annoying and predatory, let's just remove cards all together, no?

How about we take your approach and ensure that everyone plays the game in the exact same "pretend I care about other players" way, no?

Honestly, I consider myself to be a pretty generous trader, all things considered, and unlike you I do actually try and help others with their goals.

Why are you simply going after Noah for this and not the other giants in the card trading world? And besides, this whole mechanic isn't illegal.

Did you read the OP? Did you really?

This thread was to try and get a mechanism for finding cards of CTE'd nations. Up until [v] implemented that, as a result of this thread, cards of CTE nations were unfindable in any packs without TCALS and owners, which meant some cards (with 0 owners or only a few owners unwilling to sell) were unobtainable. I used specific examples of cards that I needed for my collections like Araluen and Eyreland, Wujotek, Splendania and others. I've since obtained those cards, as a result of this CTE pull system and no other system. Plenty of other players doing larger collections have or will also benefit from this system, too.

To obtain what would have been an "Unobtainable Card", you have to just open packs and hope for the 10% chance to kick in. Nothing to do with TCALS. And what Noah does is hardly obtaining unobtainable cards either: he obtains cards, sure, but just massive numbers of otherwise perfectly obtainable cards.

To complain about TCALS, you're looking for this thread, which is literally on the front page - not a 6-month dead thread for an implemented suggestion.
