NationStates

So I went to search for a particular nation or region via the search thingie on The World section. Tried it multiple times with nation and region names that I know exist. When I hit the button to search, it instead just takes me to my nation's page.

Anybody else run into this? It was working a few days ago. And there's something amusing and weird about being the forum admin and reporting a game bug

Huh, was working yesterday. Whenever I try to search for a nation or region I'm redirected onto my nation's homepage. Wonder what the effect is logged out....

EDIT: Directed the NS Front Page. Totally borked, unless you happen to be searching for yourself.

You gotta admit it is funny seeing an admin report a fame bug.

And posting it here means we can get more verifications and stuff from players. 'Cause let's face it, there's a LOT more of you guys than there are mods!

You could fix that by making everyone a forum Mod, dear forum Admin

I get taken to my nation page when trying to upload a flag

Also, the RSS feeds are redirecting to the nation page. All of them, even the extended ones.

Good grief, what the hell did Max do that broke so much stuff?

He moved some url rewriting rules from directory-specific files to a global configuration file. In theory, this should make us handle requests faster; it just had some unexpected consequences.
