Add to Collection?

Hello there!

Not sure if this has been mentioned, or suggested before, but here's what I would like to request if possible:

Would it be feasible to have an "Add to collection" button on the individual cards, so that it'll be easy for those that just want to add a card or two in their growing collections instead of searching every page of the deck?

So you can have Junk, Gift, and below "You Own This Card", there could be an "Add to Collection" button.

Thanks! ^^

This is a great idea so great I even suggested it a while back :P that being said I'd still love it! I have 12k cards to go through and it's a pain being able to add right from the card would be super nice! Like a drop down meny

Agreed. Collections are really hard to set up right now. It would be nice to simplify things.

I agree with the idea of an "add to collection" button on the individual card info pages, like Val said. Probably not on the click menu, which would make the junk and gift buttons smaller, but off to the side or below. It would be far more useful, for example, than the graph of recent transactions, which is interesting, but gets bogged down on mobile when there's hundreds of data points.

Another idea would be to work in a "sort" function in the "edit collection" page to filter cards by attribute, or at the very least, whether they were in your collection already or not. I keep the Ultra-Rare collection reasonably up to date, but in the 4,000s it takes a significant amount of time to add another hundred by finding where they are in the inventory, and I know DGES and 9003 have much larger collections than I do. Additionally, the reason the UR collection is on Karen Matheson instead of Refuge Isle is solely because of the drawbacks in organisation of cards on this scale.

Hopefully most people who spend a lot of time in the card game are interested in finding cards for collections, the likes of which are in Ponderosa's collection thread or just making collections of their regionmates. If some 15,000 collections have been made at one point or another this season, I believe it's worth thinking about how to improve the accessibility in this area for the next season.

I'd like to jump on just to add my support for this idea--my collections and deck are still very small, and it's already frustrating to go through all my cards page by page when I need to update a collection. I can't imagine what it must be like for others with many more hundreds or even thousands of cards.

Good this has been thought of by others, so I don't have to write it, just bump it up a bit. The larger a collection gets, the more nerve-wrecking it gets to add a single card by the "Edit collection" option when you could just go to the card info and select "Add to collection ..." :lol:

I've added this as a "Manage Collections" link that appears beside the "You own this card" message, so long as you do own at least one copy, and you also have at least one Collection.

Great, thanks!
By the way, when I use the new "Manage Collections" button and update a collection, the time doesn't change, it shows the last time I updated the collection with the old method.

I can confirm that as well. One of my collections was from 1 day 3 hours ago, and my puppet collection was last updated 6 days ago... which I actually updated yesterday or so. ^^;

This should be fixed now.
