Crime -- especially youth-related -- is a problem.

EDIT: DOn't forget, issues have a knock-on effect on nearly everything to do with your country.

"murderers frequently escape punishment by claiming they were protecting their honour" That might be a part of your problem, your country seems to be the Sicily of Godfather II.
I should not be on this, I have many, many exams.

Well, if crime is a problem, then you don't have an all persuasive police force who tourtures criminals harshly. So, when you get an issue about crime, you have to make sure you click the right issue.

Of course, however, you could just ignore your Ns page and only recognize certain parts of the data it displays. Many people do this, so you won't be alone.

No it's not if you let murderers off for nothing they're going to go and get up to doing more murder and other mischief so you're going to have a high crime rate.

Probably because in your issues you choose ones which are either directly weak on crime (those dealing with justice) or indirectly (letting children gamble, pizza boys robbing customers, etc)

Solution is obvious; choose every pro-business, pro-economy option you come across, cut taxes, crack down on crime, and so on. Just keep on doing that until your nation is how you want it. Unfortunately, some of the "increase police presence" type options will also raise taxes, but you can offset that by privatizing virtually everything.

It'll probably take a while, so try to answer issues every day and be patient. That's the best advice I can give.
