For the past month or two, I've been having strange problems with my telegram notices. What is happening is that I keep getting two notices for one telegram, always one minute apart on the timestamps even though they both show up at the same time. Can this please be fixed?

This just happened with a couple of TGs that a player sent me.

Is an admin ever going to talk with me about this

OK, can an admin seriously come and talk with me on this? Youve literally been ignoring me for a solid month and its starting to get me mad.

Site staff are unpaid volunteers and some of the admins have busy careers at their paid jobs outside of NS. It's not something I can fix as a mod -- and the same issue is still happening to me at least sporadically -- so it will just have to wait until one of the few admins that handle non-emergency tech stuff has time for it.

It's not an emergency. It's a minor nuisance. Please be patient.

I second this issue. Every time I receive a TG, I am also getting two notices. All other notices come single. It's just the receipt of telegrams that's noticed double.
It is indeed just a nuisance, not an emergency. Yet I would be very happy if it could be resolved ... in due time.

For possible further information:
In https://www.nationstates.net/page=subscriptions, I have all boxes ticked. (I guess that's still the default state.)

An obvious first step would be to uncheck the "You receive a new telegram" box and see if that resolves it for you.

That would be an obvious first step indeed. I should have thought of that myself.

Following the unchecking of the box which controls whether I receive a notice when I receive a Telegram, I did (as expected) not receive any notice when receiving a TG.
However, re-checking the box again, immediately gave me 2 notices of the first TG I received after that.
