Forum date different from main site?

Postby Dawetid » Wed Feb 13, 2019 10:49 pm

On the forum I have set the current time to UTC + 12, meaning that by the time I send this, it will be 14 Feb, and just before 19:00. However, I noticed that, when answering an issue, the date is still set to 13 Feb. I tried searching in the forum, but found no option to change the main site date to match the forum time/date.

Any help would be much appreciated.

It takes your computer time for the main site. What computer/browser etc. do you have, and what date is it set to?

Where exactly do you see the wrong date? Like which page/which part, and can you copy exactly what you see?

On https://www.nationstates.net/page=activ ... on.dawetid I see this:
2/14/2019, 6:41:16 PM GMT+13: Following new legislation in Dawetid, the armed forces pride themselves on being conventional and predictable.
2/14/2019, 6:24:29 PM GMT+13: Dawetid was ranked in the Top 10% of the world for Most Advanced Law Enforcement.
2/13/2019, 6:41:13 PM GMT+13: Following new legislation in Dawetid, midnight raids drag couples from their homes in the name of decency.
2/12/2019, 6:41:08 PM GMT+13: Following new legislation in Dawetid, drug deals return to the streets as legions of undercover officers stalk the dark web.
2/11/2019, 6:42:50 PM GMT+13: Following new legislation in Dawetid, drunk drivers are sent to rehabilitation paid for by the government.
2/10/2019, 6:43:59 PM GMT+13: Following new legislation in Dawetid, the legislature keeps promising "more study" of corruption allegations against the parliamentary whip system.
2/10/2019, 6:24:49 PM GMT+13: Dawetid was ranked in the Top 10% of the world for Most Advanced Public Education.
2/9/2019, 6:40:55 PM GMT+13: Following new legislation in Dawetid, the nation has nearly as many history museums as Dawetids.
2/9/2019, 10:02:18 AM GMT+13: Dawetid changed its national motto to "Freedom or Death" and its nation type to "Republic".
2/9/2019, 10:02:07 AM GMT+13: Dawetid altered its national flag.
2/8/2019, 6:40:38 PM GMT+13: Following new legislation in Dawetid, the experimental sculpture "Overtures In Dried Dragon Dung" has been declared a national treasure.
2/8/2019, 6:11:43 PM GMT+13: Dawetid voted against the World Assembly Resolution "defending the rights of sexual and gender minorities".

On the same page, yet opened in Edge (same OS etc.) I see this:

I used this (http://browserspy.dk/date.php) - first result for google, but does that still say your time/date?

That’s fine, but the problem appears when answering an issue — the text on the issue image implies a date of yesterday.

Forum time is user selected via the User Control Panel. That setting only affects the forums. I think the game may use server time there, which is Pacific Standard time (UTC-8).
