I was doing some recruiting just now and was using the activity page to look at nations in the world who were founded or had moved. I had just sent several recruitment telegrams when a red box appeared at the top of the activity feed. It said "System Error (eval) at Fri Nov 16 13:18:46 2018.". It has now gone and I am now experiencing no problems. Does anybody know what happened?

I think this is likely related to the problem I reported earlier (which is still ongoing, by the way, most recently with Rajeal, though it seems to resolve itself after a while - that API link gives the right result now, even though it didn't an hour ago when my script tried it).

Those have been showing up in a variety of places. While admins haven't tracked down the root cause, it seems to have first manifested on Z-Day.

Personally, I think somebody somewhere in server-land is nibbling on brains. But don't quote me on that.
