Polls - missing characters from poll text

Weird. I made a poll that included the robot emoji, but when I published the poll, the emoji didn't show up. I've seen quote marks disappear from polls when they're published before. This is the first time I've seen an emoji disappear. Any idea why this is? Thanks

The site does not have a uniform character set across all aspects. When you consider that the core components were put into service in 2002 (before there was such a thing as emojis), it's not all that surprising. There may be some places on the site where you have to actually use ... words ... to express yourself. Sorry.

I keep having apostrophes disappear. Although it just means I look like I have bad grammar, it’s annoying overall.
