Forum and Site Broken For Me

Howdy! I logged into my computer at home after work and found this to be my NS experience:

I can still move around, post, ETC. but it all appears broken and bad. I have cleared cookies, restarted the computer, and checked all my other sites. They're fine, so here I am.

I am also having this issue, both gameside and forumside. I'm running Chrome with NS++, on Windows 10. I've noticed that the normal GUI works when accessing both the forum and game from my phone (whether or not I'm logged in).

Refreshing the page generally works whenever this happens to me, that or restarting my router. But that's phone side so probably unhelpful especially considering other sites are working fine for OP.

Updates: Still have the problem on Chrome, but Firefox and Edge work fine

Yeah, refreshing doesn't help. Not even restarting my computer helped.

If you're all using Chrome what extensions are you also using? Any adblocks/NS++ etc?

I get that sometimes when my internet is being slow. Restarting the computer is unlikely to help because it's a problem with retrieving info from NS, not retrieving it from your hard drive.

Right now, I am using Chrome and not having an issue, but I do not have NS++. Do both of you that have this problem use NS++?

The problem for me was AdBlock. I checked all my extensions one by one and after I disabled AdBlock it worked. Enabled, didn't work. Fiddled with filters, no change. Eventually I looked for updates and it updated, and now appears to be working. I will inform if this status changes in the near future but for the moment, my problem appears to have been AdBlock.

I had the same issue, it is adblock plus. If you remove it and readd it it fixes the issue.

Removing it works, however re-adding it does not.

I'm surprised that AdBlock is causing a problem. I've been using Adblock Plus for ages and - with a couple of exceptions to do with adjusting its settings for particular websites (not NS) - I've never had to switch it off or create an exception for NS

Sounds like the Adblock issue is not unique to NS. Another site I frequent had someone reporting a similar "stylesheet not loading" problem, I mentioned the Adblock thing with NS, and re-installing Adblock fixed it for them, too.
