Speaking of my news thread linked in my sig, I need help with editing. The reason why I’m seeking help from the moderators is because

a). It’s repetitive

Site moderation are here for rules enforcement, not editing your content for you. There are threads with BBCode advice in the Technical forum, and there are the roleplay Mentors who can offer advice for RP related matters. Please use the appropriate resources.

Time to go around and take a look at how the other nations have done it. There are quite a lot of nations with news in their Dispatches or on the forums themselves.

Word of advice: For starters, keep your header small. 150 size is sufficient, you don't need to go too big with it. Or you could do it like many newspapers, with a huge starting letter, like this:

It is of utmost importance to tell you all that the weather today is pretty warm.

You could also consider asking for F&NI help in the stickied F&NI General Help Thread in F&NI. Maybe take a look at the formatting guides and resources linked in the stickied F&NI Welcome Thread in F&NI.

The stickies are provided to help you, and in the case of the RP boards, they include a copious amount of guides and resources dedicated to helping you in even the most complex of things in roleplaying, and provide a line to the Mentors who exist to help RPers learn how to roleplay. I suggest you contact one.

Please, make use of the resources that are available to you; as I said, virtually every board on the forum has prominently displayed stickies. They should be the first stop when you go to a new board, and should be read before you even consider opening a thread there.

Edit: And in case it wasn't patently clear: no, no Mod is going to re-write your thread for you, and I don't expect the Mentors to do it either. They'll help and provide advice, but don't expect anyone to do your footwork for you.
