N-Day on Sept 26?

Sept 26 is International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons. Can we expect another N-Day event then?

The last one was on 29 August, the International Day Against Nuclear Tests, in order to keep it farther apart on the calendar from Halloween. This year's will probably be as well.

Most likely is [v] looking at a calendar after noticing that she has a spare 4 hours for NS coding, and then picking an appropriate date. The significance of the date is mostly coincidental.

Is it? Last time Flanderlion made a thread saying we should do it on August 29, and [v]’s response seemed not to have thought about it

I think that it could end on the day before, like the calm before the storm in reverse. However, that means that the start date would vary depending on how long the admins want Nuclear Day 3 to last.

In any case, I am more concerned about getting the post-event statistics as accurate as a Rolex watch, hence I have suggested before that the leaving and entering of factions should be frozen at [insert end of event time] on the dot. ;)

I'm hoping for the 29th like last year. They haven't officially said it'll be annual but I'd be pretty shocked if it wasn't. As I said a few time in the thread linked here - 26th fits more lore wise, but like, 29th is way better timing wise, and spreading events out through the year.

Hehehe It's very explotable.

But how would it be exploitable when the ability to leave or enter factions end at the exact moment when the mini-game ends?

No, Aclion is saying that the lack of that is exploitable, and he likes exploiting it.

Or that's what it sounds like to me, anyway.

oh, I do hope that we don't go for 26 sept, I come back from America the day before and I'll be dead.

I like the august timing because it's just after the end of summer for americans so activity tends to be high.

Yes! Do August 29! Classes start on Monday for me and after Labor Day is when my professors begin to really dump the homework.

Assuming this is going ahead, but then again, we haven't got a news post etc. yet.

They're prone to being rather late with making those news posts, though last year's was on 24 August, so we are one day overdue.

I wish they'd make those announcements a week or two in advance, it would make it easier on scheduling.

The implication that things are planned out that far in advance is both laughable and misguided. Flying by the seat of our pants is an NS tradition.

Between here and the News Page you should find everything scheduled. Just so you know, we don't really schedule much of anything. Almost every event is a surprise.

Where is Nuke Day!?

What happened to Nuke Day? I was under the impression it would be a new annual event. Clearly to honory my yearly anniversary as King of Hell (August 29th)!!

I say we all riot on NS till the mods fix this injustice!

Don't even get me started on the fact they never brought the cards back.

On a serious note, I do heard that it is coming soon. Not sure when (because I don't know), but it's probably coming soon.

ll be very sad if it just fades away.

Watch it be right in the middle of Forests elections.
