There is literally no law against a consumer ripping that tag off. That "Do not remove under penalty of Law" is for retail places whose owners might be tempted to remove the tags as a way of allowing them to make untrue claims in order to boost sales.

And I, too, cannot wait to commence of the nuking.

With that said, why worry about that when nukes are going to flood in? We are definitely going to see a crapton of puppets.

So weird this game, in that it has people complaining that Nuclear Armageddon HASN'T happened.

I know the site doesn't really schedule much of anything and NS has a tradition of flying by it pants. And, nothing is wrong with that. It could be argued to be part of the charm.

But N-day 2 was certainly well planned in advanced and I was like "where did everyone hear about it before I did? What, I missed the first 8 hours? How come I have to search these forums to find things?"

You see the word 'NEWS', with a light-bulb icon, in the row in this menu just above the 'Latest Forum Topics'?
You should be notified there when there are any new posts on the News page, unless you've actually turned off that category of Notices.

This takes me back to when I was at university. At the uni's Wargames club, one evening, a bunch of us were playing the card-game 'Nuclear War' and calling out the death-toll. The room in which the club met was half of a larger chamber, split by a folding partition... and the other half, on that evening, turned out to be in use by the uni's CND group who sent a delegation around to complain...

I really hope N-day happens this year, as it'll help me use my puppets.

Pending an official announcement, suffice to say somebody accidentally lost track of the time and didn't flip the switch on the 29th. (Things outside of Nationstates? BLASPHEMY!)

Soooo.... were I a betting gal, I would be putting my money on the 26th due to that.

I think we did, yes, but that was nearly 40 years ago and I've forgotten some of the details. AS I recall, they left and we began singing "We'll all go together when we go"...
