[Q] “Regional Significance”

One of my nations ceased to exist and I checked it out and it said my name was reserved becuase of “regional significance” Does anyone know what this means?
Wentera is a [1.1] civilization, according to this index.

Generation 44, the first time you see this copy and paste it into your signature and add 1 to the generation.

It means you should restore your nation instead of making a new one with the same name.

I was about to restore it but I was curious about what they meant by Regional Significance.

It probably also means that your nation was a founder or past Delegate of a region that still exists.

They're not reserved. I know of a regional officer that CTEd some time ago and that nation's name is up for release.

What we don't know is when the name is released, will something happen behind the scenes to remove that RO position, or is it tied to our ID and not our name? We're still a few years from finding out.

It makes most sense to me for the game to remove CTEd nations from the officer list.
