Make WA Lists Sortable by Census

Postby Mount Seymour » Mon Jan 29, 2018 6:50 pm

Right now we have these two lists (both accessible from the main WA page) which show all the WA nations in the world and all the WA delegates in the world, respectively:

https://www.nationstates.net/page=list_un/un=dl
https://www.nationstates.net/page=list_un

However they're unsortable and unsearchable, rendering them effectively useless unless you want to know which WA member comes first in the alphabet :P Considering we have the ability for census ranking in all the other world nation lists, I'm wondering if we could get it for these as well. I can't think of a way for someone to check which WA delegates have the most endorsements right now - an important piece of information if you're trying to economize on sending WA approval telegrams - as the Endorsement stat only shows the regions with the highest rate of WA to non-WA nations. Having the ability to sort the delegates list by WA endorsements, among the other stats, would show exactly that.

Not to be confused with Nightkill the Emperor, because I am not that nation.

I support. Would also be interesting to see delegates listed by the length of their term in office.

This has fallen off the main page, so...

I wonder if that could be added as a stat just for the delegate page, similar to how the "number of nations" stat is unique to region lists.

Full support, it seems odd when the other lists are sortable.

That would also have my support, it seems like a good idea.

Any posts that I make as GenSec will be clearly marked as such and OOC. Conversely, my IC ambassador in the General Assembly is Ambassador Fortier. I’m always happy to discuss ideas about proposals, particularly if grammar or wording are in issue. I am also Executive Deputy Minister for the WA Ministry of TNP.
Kenmoria is an illiberal yet democratic nation pursuing the goals of communism in a semi-effective fashion. It has a very broad diplomatic presence despite being economically developing, mainly to seek help in recovering from the effect of a recent civil war. Read the factbook here for more information; perhaps, I will eventually finish it.

Unfortunately this feature would take longer than five minutes to implement for reasons I won't go into.

However, I do agree that it would be a useful feature.
