I'm not sure why, but starting a few months ago, many people began routinely prefixing all threads in the Technical forum with things like [IDEA], [BUG], and [REQUEST].
Please don't do this! There's usually no need for it in Technical, and it's just chaotic when everyone uses their own system. Sometimes tags are wrong (e.g. [BUG] on something that's not a bug), sometimes they're ambiguous (what does [r] mean?), and with no consistent system, it just makes titles harder to scan.
This is not a hard ban on tags, because sometimes they're appropriate for a special thread, but please don't use them all the time on every thread.
