[IDEA] New type of WA resolution

Postby Denecaep » Sun Mar 21, 2010 3:32 pm

I have an idea for a new type of WA resolution. This would probably be for the security council, but I'm not sure. It would be to remove a nation from the WA. The reason for this, is that there are so many nations that in their roleplaying, break WA rules.

A prominent example that I have noticed recently is that many people roleplay slavery, and yet are a member of the WA.

*shakes head*

First, they could just re-apply and re-join. Also, this would cause an astronomical amount of chaos..could you imagine this happening in a feeder?

Yes, if used on a delegate of a large founderless region this would be disastrous.

You can simply condemn them, or ignore the RP and pretend it doesn't happen. There are WAers who will ignore everything that isn't in line with mandatory compliance, and does not acknowledge that the mentioned RPs happen.

Relegate Alsted!

Postby Stash Kroh » Mon Mar 22, 2010 6:48 pm

Relegate Alsted
A resolution to assign a Delegate of a region elsewhere to a place of exile.

Category: Relegation | Nominee (nation): Alsted | Nominee (Region): Saskatchewan

The Security Council,

ACKNOWLEDGING that Alsted does not give any say to the European people in his voting decisions;

NOTING that Alsted has commanded General Assembly votes in the past by stacking proposals within minutes of the vote beginning;

UNDERSTANDING that this undemocratic decision has caused other delegates to follow in his footsteps to combat his tatics;

DETERMINED to end this madness, and give the European people a chance to elect a democratic leader;

HEREBY RELEGATES Alsted to the reputable position of official WA delegate to Saskatchewan and hopes for the best for him in his new endeavorers (no matter what they may be!)!

Is this to "remove" the WA delegate from power? or is it to remove them from the WA in its entirety?

second, if it is to remove from power, your idea will not persuade the admins...it says directly in the FAQ

The first thing you may wish to do is endorse some other WA members in your region, as a way to signal that you like their policies, or their pro-business stance, or their cool flag, or whatever. The nation with the most endorsements in your region is elected Regional Delegate: you can support the incumbent or push for change.

(Note that some Delegates are much more democratic than others. Some will happily allow a fair ballot; others will ruthlessly eject anyone they consider a political threat. Dictatorial Delegates must be overthrown by building opposition in stealth.)

So, only members of a region may remove a delegate.Your proposal will not work.

You can call me "Juris" for short. Also, you don't have to type my nation name in all caps either.
