[Suggestion]Renaming your country.

Postby -The Eurasian Empire- » Fri Jul 28, 2017 12:09 pm

Hello.I have a question, which I know the name change thing in the settings is for correcting the letters of your nation, but would it be possible to have setting to rename your current country without having the hassle to completely making a new nation from scrap? Like if your original name is "The Kreivian Republic" though it you could be changed to "The Imperial Raven" or something like that used only once so new players would have to stress on creating a nation for their nation.

What would you moderators think about that being an addition in the coding?

They would need to do a massive recoding of the core game in order to implement that. Thanks to 2002 logic, nation names are primary keys. It's not that they wouldn't want to have this feature, they literally can't.

Implying they're in a database. They're not.

I thought they were. Out of curiosity, where are nation names (and the underlying raw code that keeps the nation in existence) stored? They must be *somewhere* for a player to access them on a daily basis in order to play NS.

Surely there's some form of User ID database?
