Cant Post Pics on Dispatches

I am not technical, so I need clear instructions like click here, click there and so on. I used to be able to post Pics (Images) on the dispatches. Now I visit any site say movie stars and singers for example, click on an image, post it to the dispatch page and no pic appears. I use the (Img) and (Url) post the image information between the (Img) and (url) and no pics appear, this is weird.

I can do this on the forum thread posts, but I cant do it on the dispatches. Is it a problem with my dispatches or am I doing something wrong? Thank you.

You need a direct link to the image, within [img] tags. What is the URL you are attempting to use?

Thank you perfect example I just posted this link to one of my thread posts on an RP and it worked. I try to post this link to the dispatch and it dosent work. I post this (IMG) or this (URL) onto the dispatch page, post the link between the (IMG) or the (URL) click on the dispatch post, and it dosent work, do I have to do something else as well.

I just mod-edited the code directly from your forum post into this dispatch. The picture showed up just fine. I don't know what you're doing differently.

If you're getting an error message, post that.

Brackets. I copied the exact content of your forum post into the dispatch.

You could click Edit on your dispatch to see exactly what I did.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone personally who can help with this. I cover the browser over the (IMG) or (URL) image below the dispatch page, I paste the link between the (IMG) or (URL) it expands, then I click post and the Pic dosent appear, the information appears but not the Pic. I must be doing something wrong, or their is something wrong with this crazy browser, I have tried using other browsers. Thank you.

I just saw what you did on my dispatch, I did the same exact thing, it looks exact and did not post the image. The words of the image appear between the (IMG) but the pic image does not appear, If you check it out you will see that it looks exact to what you did on the dispatch.

Well maybe not exact like I thought I am trying. It takes awhile because my browser dosent always cooperate, dosent do what I want it to do when I want it to do so.

Sure you do. Several people have volunteered right here in this thread, and Mods like me can directly edit your dispatch.

Gimme a link to the dispatch you're trying to edit. And post your actual error messages. I'm tired of trying to guess what you're doing.

nothing works, it must be the browser, half the time it dosent cooperate, either way I am going to keep that example and keep trying. Thank you.

The first one has the link buried in a single image tag, i.e [imilinkg]. That's gonna fail.
The second one has leading and trailing spaces, and doesn't use a properr closing tag, which would be [/img], not [img]. Got to have proper closing tag.

I am not technical. Success. Frisbeeteria I hope you see this post, I studied your example and figured out what I was doing wrong, now I know how to do it no problems. I was using only one tag [img]than%202%20tags%20%202%20tags[/img] but without the / in the last tag. I could never have figured it out without your example, thank you.

I have no idea where that 20 % is coming from that dosent want to go away, from this crazy browser that is crazier than I am.
