Is there a way to delete your posts from a thread so that you no longer have said thread show up in your threads list? Or was delete post a feature exclusive to jolt?

There is a littel "x" in the top-right corner of each one of your posts. That is the button to delete your post.

To add to the above reply, that button disappears once someone else posts after you, so you can only remove your post when you are the last post. This is so the discussion remains complete, and there aren't posts referencing ideas/points/comments left over from old posts that were removed.

Oh yes, I hadn't realised that before . There doesn't seem to be a way to remove an annoying topic from your posts then, although you could search for only certain subforums.

That is most annoying, I must say. Ah well, c'est la vie.
