Just for fun, I was searching for regions that are both Fascist and Anti-Fascist. Or Capitalist and Anti-Capitalists. Etc.
And I also stumbled upon on some bugs related to pairs of tags "word, anti-word".
For example, let's suppose I search for all regions that have both Fascist and Anti-Fascist tag (probably such regions are neutral on this topic and are willing to accept both fascist and anti-fascist nations with open hands. ).
https://www.nationstates.net/page=tag_s ... ti-fascist
Then let's suppose I have changed my mind and decided to remove "fascist" tag, so I will search just for regions with Anti-Fascist tag (although some of them can still have Fascist tag too).
Then I get this:
https://www.nationstates.net/page=tag_s ... /tag=anti-
As you can see, "fascist" was stripped from "anti-fascist" too. It seems like both instances of "fascist" were treated as if they were the same word. It means I search for regions with tag "Anti-", but there is no such tag!
Another bug. Let's suppose I want to exclude all regions with Fascist tag and include all regions with Anti-Fascist tag (so we would exclude doublethinkers who have both).
Again, at first I get this:
https://www.nationstates.net/page=tag_s ... ti-fascist
Then I try to reverse Fascist tag, but I get:
https://www.nationstates.net/page=tag_s ... i--fascist
This means I exclude all regions with Fascist tag (just as I planned) and include all regions with Anti--Fascist tag (Oops!).
But tag Anti--Fascist doesn't exist, there is no such thing. There is tag Anti-Fascist, but we don't look for it here.
Again, it seems like both words "fascist" are treated as if they were the same single word.
