Certaint issues not coming through

Postby Narwhalian State » Wed Feb 15, 2017 10:01 am

so for over 2 months I have had these
Leader:
Unlockable: Awaiting legislation

National Religion:
Unlockable: Awaiting legislation.

if there a way to speed up the receiving of these coming through because 2 months to officially get a leader and religion is ridiculous when on many of my alternative nations received them almost a day after!

Did you dismiss those issues when they first came up? If so, you need to wait. I'm afraid there's no way to speed it up, other than by waiting for a day to pass.

Sometimes it just takes a while for those issues to come.

They've actually received all of the unlockables already. They need to click the link above.

When you initially cross the population threshold, they are the next issue.

You received both in the past and either dismissed them or picked an option that does not unlock the field. They'll come around again in time.

It can take a very long time for the issue to come back, though.

You're gonna need to keep waiting then.

It may take a few weeks, or a few centuries.

On average it takes an issue somewhere between 2-3 months (usually estimated around 80 days) to cross your desk again. Of course there's a certain amount of randomness to it (even though NS tries to prioritize issues that you haven't received before or for a long time) so a 3 month wait is hardly out of the ordinary. In fact, it is the ordinary! Just give it a bit of time.

I never even received them(meaning I never dismissed them) sense that's how most of you are going also the fact that all of my other nations at the land marks got it almost instantly

The newest issues seem to get slightly higher chances of occurrence than older ones, though, and so with the number of new ones now increasing quite rapidly I'd expect the average time for getting one of the older ones again is probably increasing too...

Population = just under 20 million. Economy = only Thriving. Average Life expectancy = c.60 years. If the nation is classified as 'Anarchy' there still is a [strictly limited] national government... and those aren't "biker gangs", they're traditional cross-Clan 'Warrior Societies', generally respected rather than feared.

I beg to differ. Game Mods can see a list of the issues you've received, and all three unlockables are on that list.

Note that you CAN answer them incorrectly, meaning if you answer "I don't want a Capital City", you won't unlock the field. The options aren't quite that blatant, but they're not hard to puzzle out.

I know Fris already responded to this, but I'd like to drive the point home a bit. It's mildly infuriating when you don't read the responses you get.

We have a simple list of every issue that every nation has answered in reverse order. It's not dated though, so if an issue was answered any further back than a week ago, there's no point in searching individually day by day. Two issues could be months apart and we'd never know.

However, the unlockable issues crop up as soon as you reach the population. You received both. It's so reliable in fact that I was able to pinpoint the day you received and how you answered each issue based on average population growth using our Issues CP. You received the Leader one later than you should have, but I suspect that was due to you having 5 issues already. You tend to stockpile them (I do too) and answer en masse.

September 29th, 2016: Issue #242: Follow The Leader - Dismissed
October 31st, 2016: Issue #243: A Question Of Faith - Dismissed

If you dismiss or answer any unlockable issue in a way that does not unlock the field, it is sent back into your eligible issues pool. They will both come around again eventually.

Since this has been thoroughly asked and answered, iLock.
